MedHOK Named Finalist for Emerging Tech Company Award

October 11, 2011

MedHOK, a provider of cloud-based quality, care management and compliance software to the healthcare industry, has been named a finalist for the 2011 Tampa Bay Technology Forum (TBTF) Emerging Technology Company of the Year Award.

The award recognizes a technology company that has been in business less than five years and has the potential to make an impact on the region. Winners will be announced Nov. 4 at the 8th Annual Industry Achievement Awards Gala.

“This recognition is testament to our team’s dedication to delivering the kind of innovative technologies healthcare organizations in Tampa and nationwide need to improve quality and performance while reducing the costs of care,” said Anil Kottoor, president and CEO of MedHOK. “It is an honor to be selected as a finalist for an award that recognizes both the impact our technology has on the healthcare community and our company’s unlimited potential for growth.”

MedHOK provides healthcare organizations with innovative, modular software to meet quality, care and compliance objectives across healthcare business lines. Its web 2.0 based technology is rapidly deployed and configurable for a low TCOp and rapid ROI, according to a statement.

MedHOK was founded in 2009 and went to market in May 2010. It has emerged as one of the healthcare industry’s fastest-growing software companies.

“By connecting data from disparate sources and organizing it into sharable, actionable information, our software creates a 360-degree view of the patient and enables a truly proactive and collaborative approach to patient care management,” said Kottoor. “By presenting this information to the right healthcare participants at the right time, MedHOK drives improved clinical outcomes, care management, quality measures, compliance and financial performance.”
