CSX Resumes Service

A section of railroad track in Ravena, N.Y., owned by CSX failed and may have caused more than two dozen freight cars to derail Monday, has been repaired and reopened, according to a company spokesman.

CSX spokesman Gary Sease told The Catskill Daily Mail that the track was reopened Tuesday morning , just over 24 hours after 28 freight cars went off the rails or tilted at a sharp angle.
